"100 % vigilant": an application to raise awareness among road users to adopt security behavior

As part of the awareness campaign entitled "100 % vigilant", the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) and the City of Montreal is launching a mobile application on active transport.

Thanks to our application, you can obtain advice for prevention of road safety partners. In addition, using documents and videos, you will improve your knowledge as a user of the metropolitan road network and adopt cautious behavior on the road.

You will be exclusively advised prevention activities organized in order to participate and direct you by GPS navigation. You can also have access to unique photos of events.

Our application will allow you to remain informed of major road accidents that have occurred near your locality and police interventions in connection with them in order to adopt appropriate driving.

The "100 % vigilant" campaign

This SPVM initiative is a new tool for raising users of the road as part of the “100 % vigilant” campaign. Thanks to the financial support of the Quebec Automobile Insurance Company, the SPVM is carrying out this campaign to reduce the number of collisions and aware of users regarding road sharing. Above all, this campaign aims to highlight the security behavior that road users must adopt to increase their security and be respect for others.
