AOK CONSCIOUS Shopping Helps with Traffic Light Colors Buy Health Conscious.

The AOK app "Consciously shopping" helps to buy with traffic light colors more health-conscious. Shopping lists can be created over three different options-with the scan des Barcodes, via food category search or through a text input. Regarding the individual foods, reviews appear in traffic light colors, which provide information about the content of fat, saturated fatty acids, sugar and salt. Red stands for a high, yellow for a medium and green for a low content in the respective foods. The information is supplemented by the calorie information, the protein and carbohydrate content. An overview of the entire purchase enables a look at the relative distribution of the traffic light colors and shows which and how many foods are located in the red, yellow or green category. In order to achieve a more balanced diet in the long term, this conscious health -related view is already worthwhile when purchasing.
