A lightweight version of Google Keyboard, made for Indian language users.

Google Indic Keyboard is a variation of Google Keyboard with a smaller file size. It enables Indian language users to input multiple Indic and Indian languages (including official and unofficial languages) on the screen.

***4 Input Modes

-Transliteration mode

Use English letters to spell out the pronunciation of your native language. e.g. Type in "namaste" and the app will automatically suggest "नमस्ते")


-Native keyboard mode

Local Language alphabets from the grid are in an active state. You can input your native language directly.


-Handwriting mode

Handwrite words on your phone screen (only available for the Hindi language)


-Hinglish mode

At the top of the keyboard, you'll see suggestions for both English and Hinglish words when the Hinglish mode is activated.
