The Ministry of Health Access to Current Data on Health Care.

There is a broad need for better accessibility to current figures on health care. With the ' Zorgcijfers ' app, the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport gives substance to this need and hopes that its use will lead to more transparency and the better use of available figures.

The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport is aware that some figures are available of several (and sometimes more topical) figures sources. In the app, with a view to transparency it was decided to choose one source for each number. The ' Zorgcijfers ' app is therefore a first step in harmonizing concepts, definitions, sources and outcomes. You can respond to comments, suggestions, questions, etc. that can help us with further development via the contact form.

All tables, graphs and cards are from public sources. Only the most current figure is shown per item. If a figure from one of the sources used is updated, the aim is to have processed this figure in the app within a month. The cut -out of the most used key figures is refreshed at least four times a year. The app will be updated twice a year in September (at the budget) and May (with the accountability) in its entirety. Older sets remain available via the archive.
